N.O.M.A.D - N O / H I D I N G
Texas producer N.O.M.A.D returns with his latest album N O / H I D I N G. An appropriate title, N O / H I D I N G reveals N.O.M.A.D making his debut as an emcee on a few tracks. More than likely, almost all producers make great emcees as they are the ones who understand their sound better than anyone else, and N.O.M.A.D evidently knows how to tame his very wild sound.
N.O.M.A.D - P E A C E F U L / P L A N E T
After an epic tear of EP releases last year, Fort Worth, TX producer N.O.M.A.D illustrates the sounds he hears in the world created in his mind while in a dream-state on his first album offering of 2013, P E A C E F U L / P L A N E T. As serene as the album title sounds, the tracks fluctuate in range from lush to chaotic in an instant, creating an unpredictable atmosphere only accomplished by N.O.M.A.D’s keen ear for left-field sources of sound. Close your eyes and get lost during your listening experience.
Best Of 2012:
N.O.M.A.D - B L A C K W I N D O W EP
Fort Worth, TX producer N.O.M.A.D went on a tear of excellent releases in 2012, dropping 5 projects in total. My favorite has to be his late October release, B L A C K W I N D O W. Each track on this EP builds up to grandiose instrumentation that is never expected on first listen and that element of surprise manages to supercede every other listen. Truly one of the best instrumental albums released in 2012 and one that I’ll be keeping in rotation for a long time.
N.O.M.A.D - 3 3 3 EP
Fort Worth, TX beatmaker N.O.M.A.D presents his 5th and final project released this year, 3 3 3 EP. The best way I can describe the sound of this album is “cozy” but with N.O.M.A.D’s signature rare grooves/drum patterns and off-kilter percussion and synth work. Grab this project and add it to your 2012 collection of N.O.M.A.D’s seemingly non-stop assault of EPs.

Kendrick Lamar - “Fuck Your Ethnicity”
(N.O.M.A.D Remix)
The Midnight Kid N.O.M.A.D applies some futuristic Texas hip hop aesthetics to Kendrick Lamar’s explosive Section.80 intro track. Straight bangers. Be sure to cop N.O.M.A.D’s B L A C K W I N D O W EP and Kendrick Lamar’s Good Kid, M.A.A.D City which are both out now.

N.O.M.A.D - B L A C K W I N D O W
Fort Worth, Texas producer N.O.M.A.D continues to build his museum of a discography with his 4th project of 2012, B L A C K W I N D O W. As usual, N.O.M.A.D attempts to reach the limits of experimental instrumental music that makes listening a truly visual experience that requires no words.
N.O.M.A.D - F E E L
Fort Worth, TX producer N.O.M.A.D takes his distinct electroacoustic sound to the next level with his 3rd 2012 project F E E L. His ability to make thoroughly engaging instrumental pieces each season is quite astonishing. Somebody get this man’s music in some films asap. Peep all of N.O.M.A.D’s previous work here.
N.O.M.A.D - S P H E R E S O U N D
Navigation Of Music And Dreams. That’s really all that needs to be said about the sound of N.O.M.A.D. Once again the Fort Worth, TX producer comes through with an incredible collection of progressive beats containing exotic percussion and melodies that can stand on their own as instrumentals. Midnight Summers continues…
Suzi Analogue - A Minute (N.O.M.A.D Remix)
The Midnight Kid N.O.M.A.D continues his string of impressive remixes with a reworking of songstress Suzi Analogue’s “A Minute”. Bird sounds and punchy beats permeate the soundscape. Be sure to check out N.O.M.A.D’s latest album V I V I D out now.
